Nanjing Day 2

Was one tiring day.

We had to wake up early because we wanted to try the dim sum in a restaurant that's only open until 11 am.

And that day was quite sunny. And I hate it >:(

So after walking for 15 minutes, finally we found it. Jackey was the name.

We quickly ordered many things, because we were already starving.

Thanks to the 15 minutes walking.

So here it is the food galoreeeeee

Then the others ordered the main dish, at first me and jiejie wanted to try the poridge.

But we were already full so we cancelled it.

While waiting them to finish their foods, I took a candid shot of my sister.

And later on I found out she uses it as her display picture in facebook.

After we finished all and paid the bill, we went back to our hostel.

And while we're walking we passed a shop that sell hats.

So I ran inside, and picked the cheapest. 20 rmb, not bad right?

After took a rest for a while, we continued our trip.

We went to a museum.

*spot me and my sister?*

The museum is all about Nanjing under the Japanese, and how much they had sacrificed.

Before we went inside, I saw this crowd coming to me.

Me and ci Maureen were scared, so we walked away. And the policemen came!

And they fought! But after that they ran away. The policemen lost!

We were all scared the crowd gonna come to us and beat us also.

So we quickly took taxi and went back home!

Ha!!! Got you!! I lied!!!

I know its quite lame but whatever. :P

Back to the museum, and we went in.

Then I spot this. And people was like sitting on it.

I freaked out at first because I thought they were sharp.

So I gave it a try, I sat on it. And they weren't that sharp.

Infact it gave me the funny feeling when I sat on it. Felt like it tickled my butt :P

Do u know why the word Philipines is on the banner?

Although it has nothing to do with the Nanjing and Japanese, but the Philipines were the ones who sponsored and supported them in making the museum.

The last picture before my cameran went dead. And the scene is quite pretty, isnt it?

Then we went to Zaraaaaaa :D :D Saw a blazer and wanted to buy it.

Not this one, the grey one. But it's so expensive, its about 500+ rmb.

And I asked ci Maureen, and she said the Zara in Indonesia is much cheaper.

So bye bye greyblazerthatisactuallysuitsmewellandquiteawesomewhenIworeyou.

But the tiramisu from Starbucks cheered me up :D

My jiejie got herself a hot chocolate. Yea the biggest one!

It took forever to finish it.

Me and my jiejie then went to Burger Kind to had a dinner.

I ordered quite a lot hence the big bag there.

They others wanted to eat in another restaurant. So I 'tabao' them.

This is what they ate. I dont know what they call it. Is it maratang?

And a whooper set meal for me, and a salad for jiejie.

I got bored while waiting them eating. So I took ci Maureen' camera and played with the food.

This shows you how artistic I am when it comes to photography :P

I'm not talking nonsense in here, I really am a photographer.

I know i should put watermarks on them, people nowadays like to steal my artworks :P

After that we went back to our hostel. That was like already late, so some of the lights were off already.

While I brushed my teeth alone, someome came and SHE SCARED ME TO DEATH!!!

I felt like my heart stopped beating! I thought she was sadako or something.

I adore her long, straight, and sadako-alike hair, so I took picture with her.

Why?

Because that hair almost killed me.

Few days ago at night, the thing of photoshoot came up to my mind.

And I quickly ran to Vincent aka Xingfu aka my jiejie and told her.

I didn't prepare anything, I wore my pajamas as usual and a shawl my sister passed me.

So basically I just played with my shawl. That's all.

It was fun :) We have to do it more often jie.

Nanjing Day 1

Heya people, as what I promised now I'm gonna blog about my trip to Nanjing.

That morning off we went to Hefei trains station at 7 in the morning.

And I wasn't really feeling well, cos the night before I couldn't sleep until like 4 am.

Hence the the swollen eyes. My eyes looked weird. *normally my eyes are not that small*

I can say the train is not that bad at all.

Maybe because we chose the business class, so it was so clean and not smelly at all.

I listened to my iPod while enjoying the beautiful views.

It was sooo relaxing.

I've been waiting a moment like that, and finally the 1 hour trip was satisfying.

Yay!!! We arrived in Nanjing!!

Nanjing is sooooo much different from Hefei, its more like a big city.

It reminded me a lot of Singapore!!! I miss Singapore *cries*

I miss

Ok. Shall we back to the trip thingy?

Then we took bus to the hostel we were gonna stay for 3 days.

The hostel was soo nice, even though its small but the service was good.

For you who wanna go to Nanjing for holidays, this hostel is so recommended.

Dont worry if you cant speak chinese, they can speak English *wink*

Oya these are my compannians while I was there.

*that's when we were waiting for the bus*

And Ko Leo was missing somewhere :P

So after we put our stuffs at the room and rested for a while. We went out! Yay!

We went to this random mall, and did what tourists always do.

Took a picture in front of the mall. Yeah.

*why am I so short???!!!!*

But there was nothing impressed me at the mall.

So we left and had a luch at a Japanese restaurant but I picked beef steak instead.

The food was ok, and the price was also reasonable. It was 25 rmb if I'm not wrong.

But being a careless person as always, accidentally I pushed the food at the wrong side, bcos I actually I wanted to pass the food to my sister.

All the chinese around us started looking at us, and it was sooo embarrasing. *runs*

So I paid double, 50 rmb. Thanks to myself.

Then we headed to the place I love the most!!! What else?

The mocha on the right was my sister's. And choco blended cream for me :D

Then saw Gucci, and all branded stuff stores. Wanted to go in but I didn't.

Spotted this!!

We have that in Indonesia!!! We called it 'becak'.

The only difference is in Indonesia they put the bike at the back.

Then we arrived at this place. Its a tourist place, I forgot the name.

But for you who can read chinese characters, read that.

And there's Burger King nearby!! So we went in and ordered.

Everyone was like ordering hamburgers, while I ordered only onion rings and a coke.

I was still full because the choco blended cream :(

After everyone was done with their foods, we went in to the museum and took a lot of pictures.

The lantern is sooo cute right. I like everything that comes up with a ribbon shape. :D

After that we walked again. While I was walking I saw takoyaki and scramed

"Jie! I want!!!!!! Let's go and get some!!"

*they only have 1 variety which is octopus, in sg they have cheese, ham, prawn,and many more*

I had like 3 boxes of takoyaki. The last time I ate takoyaki is when I was in Singapore.

Yeah I know I'm crazy but there's no takoyaki in Hefei ok?

So please understand!!! :P

Then we walked for 15 minutes then reached the place. It's sooo colorful.

Its so bright and colorful, it almost hurt my eyes :P

While we were taking pictures, my sister spot this monk and end up wanted to take a picture with him. So we asked ci Ica to talk to him.

He smiled and nodded, but when his mother saw us.

She said like "Ta bu neng. Ta shi wo de bla bla bla" *didnt really understand what she said*

And pulled the monk back, but then the monk said to her that actually it was Ok.

We were so happy bcos we didnt get rejected :) The monk was so kind and polite.

He's sooo nice to us.

Btw I shopped quite a lot on the first day.

As u can see the plastic bags I was holding in every picture. And they dont charge the plastic bags!! Well Hefei does.

So that's all about my first day in Nanjing. Stay tuned for the 2nd and 3rd day!

My New Hair Do

Actually not really, just my fringe aka bangs.

*that was last year at prom night*

But this time I did it by myself.

This is the first time I did by myself, so kinda feel proud now haha :D

I wanted to cut it a long time ago alr, but I was scared if the result gonna turn ugly.

So today I said to myself infront of my toilet's mirror "You can do it Fel!!"

And it turned quite nice :D I was kinda surprised by the result.

People said this cutting makes the person looks cuter, really? I did try it loh.

I dont really look cute eh -_- How come?

Later on I asked my sister how is my new look and she said I look like the fuwuyen we met in the hostel when we were staying in Nanjing.

And she kept making fun of my new bangs, she will go "Fuwuyen fuwuyen fuwuyeeenn..."

She's so mean yeah? We're obviously different ok? Bu yi yang!!

The Story Behind 'It'

So basically that day, me and my sister went to Taman Anggrek Mall.

Sbenernya kita jarang banget pegi ke TA Mall, but since Vincent wanted to ice skate so we went.

We had sushi for our lunch that day.

Pas uda sorean gt, we went to Pizza Hut. And the horror came,

I saw Orochi coming. I was looking at him like this

*bengong + kagum + ngeces smua jd satu*

Tadinya sempet deg2an gimana mau minta foto, tapi ku branikan diri ku untuk memintanya.

Sayang klo kesempatan dibuang ktemu cowo cakep.

Gw : "Boleh minta fotonya ga Orochi?"

Orochi : "Ok." *proceed forward me*

Gw : *melted*

Dia ga pake basa basi gitu, langsung said OK and stood beside me.

He was sooooo cool!!!!!!!

Dan kayaknya orang2 dsitu pada bengong ngliatin gw foto sama sapa gt.

Mereka ga tau kali klo sbenernya Orochi itu ganteng + keren + famous!!!

Sports Meeting

It was held on wednesday, 15th April 2009.

I know that was like last week. But its ok, I'm gonna post it anyway.

So actually we had to participate in it, its like a parade thingy.

But because the last rehearsal I didn't come, so someone replaced me.

But thank God, cos that day was supeerr hot and I dont think I would want the job :P

They gave us uniforms and flags from different countries which were quite cool.

*except for the smelly uniform my sister was wearing* :P

My sister proudly showed off her 'smelly' uniform :P

Once I reached there, I saw this crowd and went "OMG!!"

There were about 10 schools participated, including us.

I had to wait long enough until finally I saw them coming.

We were crazily screaming "Woohoooooo!!!!"

It was quite awesome when the chinese people also sreamed "Lawaaii lawai lawaaii!! Ahhh!!"

*lawai means foreigners*

I know it sounds funny but awesome too :P

Why I Love Nanjing

They got a looott of starbucks there.

See how crazy I am over starbucks.

Day 1

I got my self a choco blended cream.

I remembered when i was in Sg, me and my friend used to fight just to get the choco cream on top. :)

Day 2

I tried the tiramisu :) and it was so nice, I'm missing it already. Sigh *why Hefei doesnt has starbucks???*

Day 3 a.k.a the last day

It was raining, so I got myself a hot chocolate. A very good accompanian in a rainy day :)

Later on after me and my sister were tired, we went back to starbucks again to chill out.

And I had a cheesecake and a green tea blended cream.

I think i dont really like the green tea, it tasted too 'green tea' than the one i tried in Sg.

But I love the cheese cake. Although i cant finish it and brought it back to Hefei.

Once I reached Hefei. No worries. Look at what I got for myself :)

And I dont know when I'm gonna drink em. I dont wanna finish it :(

Since I started very lazy blogging in blogspot.

Obviously bcos of the small pictures and the not-very-easy to adjust the space.

Many times I've tried to click 'enter' button

But it shows as if I didnt click enter after I publish that post.

So today I googled how to enlarge pictures on blogspot.

Then I found this

They told me that I have to use outside hosting site like flickr or photobucket.

and.........

Not to use the photo upload button inside of Blogspot.

The first thing came to my mind :

HEN MAFAN EH!!!

Why do i need to upload pictures to other websites like flickr or photobucket, then upload it again to blogspot!!!??

Wordpress doesnt require us to do that just to increase our pictures!!

I asked her whether I can bring it to China. And she said yes I can bring it.

Unfortunately there's no more space, so I left it with my mom again T.T

Anyway, she's improving her skill of 'gaulness'

Instead of calling me everyday using her handphone.

She now prefers 'chatting' in MSN

She looks very funny here!! She's polishing her nails with my nail polish.

And not very happy bcos she just relized that the color's not good. Hahahaha silly mom.

Being away from her 2 daughters is not really nice.

Infact she has to be alone while watching some Indo dramas there,

cos my big bro doesnt like any sinetron.

I like facebook, it keeps me in touch with my friends back in Indonesia and Singapore.

I can just straight forward go to their walls and send some sweet msgs.

Although it might be just a short sentence like 'i miss u' or 'how are u'.

Tapi ada something yg bothers me SO MUCH!

It gets started when you click the 'add as friend' button.

Gw typical orang yg ga mau approve random people alias ga kenal.

Gw sih gpp klo misalkan kalian add gw.

Tapi klo mau add friendster aja, since my friendster' friends uda byk.

Freaking 902, and yes I used to app random people and some 'alays'.

Akhirnya they ended up on my profile asking me 'anak mana?' or 'kelas brapa'.

That's actually written on my profile that my school's SYAS Singapore.

I didnt bother too much, if i didnt hv nothing to do I would just reply them back.

But mostly I didnt reply them.

And since I'm not using friendster as often as before.

Jadi ngerepotin orang deh nitip2 beli makan mulu. Abis bosen 2 hari makan indomie!

1. I drank this weird chinese tea.

Tapi tekonya lumayan modern gt. Keren lah.

tinggal didorong kbawah ampasnya turun.

Klo uda mpe bawah baru tinggal dituang ke cangkir.

rasanya sih biasa aja kyk air putih biasa, cuma aroma nya aja bau apaaa gt.

2. I've seen the kungfu mian

Orangnya joget2 gt sambil bikin tuh tepung jadi mie.

Itu tepung dilempar ksana kmari.

Trus dia jg lempar2 ke meja gw, tapi tuh ga ada satu orang pun yg kena tuh tepung.

Padahal gw uda nunggu2 tuh saat itu tepung ga sengaja kena pala orang. Hahuahuaha.

Anehnya cepet banget tuh mie jd kecil2. Trus dia langsung masukin aja ke dalam panci.

*kita waktu itu lg makan shabu2, not that kind of shabu2 ya hehe*

3. Ate tebu as a dessert

Yup! Makannya ya digigit2 aja gt. Trus ampasnya dibuang.

But its ok as long my mom enjoyed it.

Tapi yg lebih aneh lg, itu diadain pas special event gt. Restaurant terkenal, dan makannya bareng kepala skolah dan stuff2 penting lainnya. Aneh aja they gave tebu instead of cheese cake. Huahuhaa.

4. Seen -1st floor.

Huahahahhaha

5. Saw my mom and sister ate ice cream in -1 degree weather

Emang selera mreka aneh. Mending kyk gw yg normal2 aja gt.

Makan lolipop contohnya.

6. Ate fishball isi coklat. *rasa coklat*

Gak. Gw ga boong koq.

7. Saw this. And laugh so hard

Hauhauha larangan untuk cium2. HUahuahuhuahua.

Lanjut besok. Eke lagi sakit nih. Jadi tolong didoakan buat sembuh.

Hefei Week 1

Yup nulis lg. Walopun masi rada annoyed gara2 kmrn uda nulis malah keapus lg -_= *reseee*.

So yea gw dsini uda hampir 2 minggu. Lagi musim dingin skarang, sampe2 kmrn ada ujan es.

Ok, I shall not basa basi.

Ini pas transit di Guang Zhou yg airport nya besar, i mean besarr, TERLALU BESAR.

Gw klo sendirian mungkin bisa kesasar kali.

Ini nyokap yg lagi pilek, dan sedang menebar virus2nya itu ke chinese2 sekitar. Huahua. :P

Ini gw dengan pakaian yg super tipis. I'm so brave r8! Haha.

Trus kita sempet makan di restaurant di airportnya.

Dim Sum nya tuh ga bgitu enak, enak kan yg di Geylang, Sg. *dan sbenernya dsini smua mkanan ga bgitu enak, oh i wish i lose weight*

Ok kita skip bagian yg di Guang Zhuo, setelah menempuh 1,5 jam 39 menit 55 detik *boong*, kita nyampe deh di An Hui University. Yang tak lain skolah + asrama gw.

Ini gw yg super kedinginan dan uda ga mau act brani lg dgn tidak memakai coat.

Ini gw uda dikamar loh. Lumayan keren juga klo dibilang dorm, bentuknya kyk hotel gitu, murah lg. Dan gede lg, ga kyk di Sg, uda kecil mahal lg. Take that Tante ******. Huahuahuhaa *tu nama guardian alias ibu kos gw di sensor ahaha*

See see? Kyk kamar hotel kan?

Lengkap ada TV, AC/heater, internet, dll. I like :D

The only thing I REALLY HATE

Toilet nya super duper KECILL!!! Asli kecil abis, wah parah yg design ni kamar. Kamarnya gede bgt tapi kamar mandi nya kecil bgt. Ga balance nih :(

Lemari, teko listrik, dan 2 gelas. Yang kmudian dipakai buat tempet gosok gigi. Tapi gw ga mau yg itu, kliatannya kyk uda bekas dpake byk orang gitu. Jadi gw beli baru deh.

Ini lorong di depan pintu kamar gw. Kliatan kyk asrama tua yg berhantu emang. Tapi ga koq, bagus. Mungkin ini karena gw captured pas uda malem ya, jadinya gelap2 gitu. Huehue.

Dan karena kamar masi kotor dan berdebu, maka harus dibersihkan. And u know what?

Gw ngosek WC!! Walopun cuma elap2in pake tisu trus dilanjutin sama nyokap tp TETEP ya I DID it. Makanya hati2 Felicitas ini dalam waktu tertentu bisa brubah jadi Feliyem. Tiba2 penampilannya kucel, rambut dikepang 2, pegang sapu. Hati2, biasa terjadi 3 hari skali tiap sore. Mending ga usah dateng. Hmm..

Ini barang2 such as sampo, sabun, sikat gigi, yg uda dberesin.

Dan kalian tau kan yg mana sikat gigi gw?

Yup! Hahahaha.

Hari tambah larut dan gw juga uda kcapean. So gw dan

BABY! tidur dulu. Huahua.

The next day, kita dianterin untuk buka bank account.

Ini walopun senyum tp sbenernya mulut gw kaku kdinginan.

UJAN MULU LAGI! Mafan. *mafan=repot*

Yup i think that's all for today.

Ok, back to reality.

Gw harus jadi *ehem* Feliyem.

Btw gw bikin puisi nih.
